California-Part 2

Part 2 of our California adventure consisted mainly of San Diego with the wonderful Workmans and SOME of the Messicks. The journey to Anaheim was an adventure. We rode Greyhound, fun, and slept in Anaheim with the fam. The trip to San Diego was much more pleasant, only 2 hours. Again, you can ask the Workmans how they liked riding with me.

We went to Mission Beach and Sea World both days. We had great weather and good company. We really enjoyed boogie boarding and David tried surfing. Some of the girls got to swim next to some dolphins, but for some reason got scared and got out of the water! Hello! Sea World was a blast also. Enjoy the pictures!

The video is of the most annoying (but cute) sea lions! They'll scream until you feed them. As Elle was attempting to do so, a bird snatched the fish right out of her hand. Scary.

Which one is the hippo?

I won the milk-chugging contest. JK

Somehow kelp just ends up there. Don't know how.

Chelsea distroyed this masterpiece shortly after.

California-Part 1

Part 1 of our California vacation was spent in Palm Springs with Michael and Annie Beckstead and their beautiful baby, Sadie. I was fortunate enough to sit by Sadie in the car on the way there, and she was a pleasant fellow passenger. If she could talk, she probably wouldn't say the same about me (morning sickness, you know).

In Palm Springs we hung out at the condo, swam, went to Huntington Beach on a very cold, windy day, miniature golfing (I got a hole in 1), and David and Michael spent a memorable day at Six Flags. Let's just say David shared his lunch with Michael AFTER eating it. Sorry, Michael. It was a great trip and we just love the Becksteads. We have some great memories now!

At our "layover" in Las Vegas, we spent some time with the fabulous Vegas Stevensons. Below you will find exclusive footage of the belly-sizing contest between David and Ella. Enjoy!

Mmm...jealous?
