No Turning Back

As of the beginning of January Olivia has been walking. We've experienced bumps, bruises, stairs, and the pitter-patter of little feet. She is on her way to greater independence and she knows it. There's no turning back now.

I can't tell you how much she loves loves being outside. I, for one, cannot wait until spring. Then she can roam all around the yard.

The other day we got her out of her car seat and this is what she has been storing in there:

I love Ogden

Before surgery...
My awesome cousins came up from Happy Valley to have dinner with us a few weeks ago. It was so fun to see them. We kind of "grew up" together even though we lived states apart but they are the best cousins. Here's Justin with his girl Jamie and Olivia.
3 of her favorite things: Mascara, her comb, and the Love Sac.

Just watchin a movie with Dad.

Last weekend was the Ogden Winterfest. Some of the events included horses pulling skiiers off jumps, snowmobile races down 25th St, and human dog sled races. I love this place!

The morning was warm enough with the sun but once the sun went behind the buildings, we were freezin our bunz off!

Enjoying some live entertainment at the Ogden Amphitheater.

Little Princess

The other day I looked in the back seat of the car and this is what I saw:

Today my grandparents and great-grandma Messick came up to Ogden for a funeral. We enjoyed a nice lunch while we visited.

This is at the Winterfest. It's amazing how fast these machines could get going in just a city block.
