IT'S A GIRL!!!

Yes everyone, we are having a GIRL!!! We had the 20 week ultrasound last week and everything looks great. She has a healthy heart, kidneys, etc. and she is growing just as she should and right on schedule. I was so convinced it was a boy and David thought it was a girl. I had a boy name picked out and everything, but I guess we'll have to save it for later. Don't get me wrong though, I am thrilled to have a sweet little baby girl coming to our home soon. I couldn't be happier. Well...if she didn't make me throw up every day still, that would be nice, but nonetheless I am so happy! We are looking forward to her grand entrance into this world.

I don't have any ultrasound pictures scanned yet, but for your viewing pleasure I have included (with permission) a picture of my handsome hubby. My sister, Katie, took this picture so at least you can see my belly in the background.

Willard Bay

Our dear friend, Alisa Porter, invited us on an exclusive once-in-a-lifetime-opportunity, all-expenses-paid outing with her and her date, Jordan. He was so nice to take us along on his boat. David is a really good wakeboarder and is so close to clearing the wake. Just a few more times and he has it. It was Alisa's first time wakeboarding and she did a lot better than I did my first 3 times. I just sat in the boat but I enjoyed their company and the beautiful sunset.

Aaahhh what a nice view...of us!

One of God's tender mercies. Absolutely beautiful.

Alisa, already boarding like a pro.

Alisa's preparing to wakeboard for the first time here. Look at her face. That's the look of sheer terror.

Wow, that's like 10 ft of air if you ask me (David).

Newest Addition to the Fam

Yes, there's a baby coming too, but this one's a car! We decided that with 244,000 miles, our 1993 Honda isn't going to last forever. As much as we like it, we got a second car. Yes, a 2002 Land Rover Freelander. It is a rebuilt title so there are some things to fix, but we sure got a steal! Plus with all-wheel drive, leather seats, and only 94,000 miles, it sure is an upgrade.

Good Practice

A few weekends ago we babysat our landlord's kids for 3 days. They are cute girls and we had a fun time. It was good practice for parenthood someday!

Relaxing in the hammock. Notice the dog. We babysat 2 kids and a dog. We can handle anything!

We went for a Sunday picnic and Erika wanted to protect her eyes from the blazing sun and also offered to tote our dinners. We'll keep her!

Bear Lake

This year's Bear Lake vacation was unfortunately very short. David couldn't go, but I went for a day and a half. Regardless of the length, it was great to spend time with my family, the Messicks, and their friends. Bear Lake is still the best!

Stevenson Family Reunion

What a blast! The reunion was awesome and we always have a ton of fun with the fam. This year's SF3 (Stevenson Family Film Festival) was a success with the exception of the family that shall remain unnamed who started their movie at 2:00 a.m. the morning of the film viewings (we finished about 15 min before it was time to start watching the movies). For those of you who don't know, SF3 is where every family creates a movie that is judged by "the committee". There were some great movies!

We also enjoyed the Stevenson Family Olympics, hiking, EATING, and being together. I don't have very many pictures, sorry!

This is a picture of me, probably at about 4:00 a.m., in my costume for the Star Wars scene of our movie. Can you tell who I am? Princess Leah, of course!
