Bowling

Happy Birthday, McKell! Last night was David's friend, McKell's birthday. We went to Chili's and went bowling.

David and McKell.

It's actually like carrying 2 bowling balls.

Cute!

We have a lot of leftover ribbon from wedding and baby shower gifts so I made bows out of them for our little girl. David was kind enough to model them for me.

Halloween Party

Happy Halloween! David and I are on the activities committee in our ward and of course the Halloween party was flippin awesome! There was a great turnout and if only we had pictures of ALL the costumes. There are a lot of creative people out there. Our costumes were David's suggestion and as much as I feel like a cow right now anyway, I obliged. Enjoy the pictures!

Anyone recognize these people? No, it's not Sam and Melissa. It's Mugatu and his assistant, or whatever.

Or these? (Todd and Lacey, of course)

A pirate and parrot. How cute! Andy and Heather.

Yikes! Richard

Part of the decorations. I know, it looks professional. The Geddesses, Walls, and us spent quite a long time on these.

David asked one of these ghosts to dance. Then I got jealous.

Happy Birthday David!

October 26 was David's Birthday. He turned how old? Twenty-four. The Stevensons made a delicious dinner for his birthday and the Workmans came over for dessert one night. Thanks everyone for being so awesome! Happy Birthday, David!

"Why does David always get all the attention? I'm cute too!" ...says Sadie.

Andrew made David a sweet cake. Can you guess what it is? Yes, nothing other than a Volkswagen bug! Tah duh!

Andrew, hard at work.

Thanks, Annie and Michael, for this very nice decoration! What talent!

Besides making a super sweet birthday cake for David, Andrew also installed a sweet amp and bass in our car. Now we can rock out to our favorite country music. Thanks, Andrew!

We love our friends!

We have made some awesome friends in our ward. They are really good people and we have a lot in common. We love doing things with them. Here are some things we've done the last few months.
The Jex's taught us how to Latin dance. I definitely don't have what it takes, but I tried! This is Sam and one of the Jex's nieces.

Camping in Huntsville. Brrr!

More Latin dancing.

Around the world.

Getting ready for baby

As some of our faithful followers may know, I have not updated our blog since September. Here are just some random pics of our baby preparations...

Dad doing a great job delegating.
Katie had to practice shaving somebody for her CNA class. I know, this doesn't help us prepare for a baby.

Notice the giant picture of Daddy on the wall. Would you like to wake up to that every morning?
Don't ask me what he's looking for.
I hope he doesn't teach our baby this.
This is how David carried the crib mattress all the way from the store to the car... how embarrassing!

I love fall!

Check out these amazing leaves in David's Uncle Ruston's front yard in Huntsville. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place!

IT'S A GIRL!!!

Yes everyone, we are having a GIRL!!! We had the 20 week ultrasound last week and everything looks great. She has a healthy heart, kidneys, etc. and she is growing just as she should and right on schedule. I was so convinced it was a boy and David thought it was a girl. I had a boy name picked out and everything, but I guess we'll have to save it for later. Don't get me wrong though, I am thrilled to have a sweet little baby girl coming to our home soon. I couldn't be happier. Well...if she didn't make me throw up every day still, that would be nice, but nonetheless I am so happy! We are looking forward to her grand entrance into this world.

I don't have any ultrasound pictures scanned yet, but for your viewing pleasure I have included (with permission) a picture of my handsome hubby. My sister, Katie, took this picture so at least you can see my belly in the background.

Willard Bay

Our dear friend, Alisa Porter, invited us on an exclusive once-in-a-lifetime-opportunity, all-expenses-paid outing with her and her date, Jordan. He was so nice to take us along on his boat. David is a really good wakeboarder and is so close to clearing the wake. Just a few more times and he has it. It was Alisa's first time wakeboarding and she did a lot better than I did my first 3 times. I just sat in the boat but I enjoyed their company and the beautiful sunset.

Aaahhh what a nice view...of us!

One of God's tender mercies. Absolutely beautiful.

Alisa, already boarding like a pro.

Alisa's preparing to wakeboard for the first time here. Look at her face. That's the look of sheer terror.

Wow, that's like 10 ft of air if you ask me (David).
