Yeehaw!!!

Last week was Pioneer Days in Ogden. There are so many fun things to do! David went to the parade (I was still in bed, recovering from the stomach flu, ugh) and we went with the Workmans to the Ogden rodeo. We also brought along our friends, Sam and Melissa Bates and David's mission buddies, Bennet (and his wife) and Davis. The rodeo is always a blast. O-town ROCKS!

David: "Did you see that bull? I could stay on for 8 minutes!"

Our friends, the Bates. They were newcomers to the rodeo tradition. I think they liked it!

Davis, having a wonderful time.

Pregnant or just gaining weight?

I have decided to keep a picture journal of my pregnant belly just to track the progress. My goal is to update this post monthly so David and I (and all of you) can see the growth. I'm a little late getting started but the baby bump has just recently appeared so here it is!

This was our first ultrasound at 7 weeks, I think. That's our little bean!

Sleepless in Ogden

This weekend some of David's nieces from the Chandler family came over for a sleepover. We had a great time. Those girls are so cute and we just love them. Unfortunately Lucy was not there (we could have handled it, of course), but we had fun with the older ones!

Nora & David

Beautiful babes. Nadine, Nora, and Naomi.

Nadine sporting the "precious jewels" David got them at the Dollar Tree.

Wild Ward Campout

David and I are on the activities committee in our married student ward and we just held our ward campout at Lava Hot Springs. We tubed the river, played games, ate tons of great food, some went golfing, to the hot pots, and spent a day at the pools. We love our ward and have great friends.

David and some friends had a contest to see who could touch the flags. David in action.

Bikini models? Possibly!
At our fireside, we had a lip-sinc contest between the bishopbric, bishopbric's wives, the 2 Elders quorom presidencies, and us (activities committee). This is David and Spencer Coleman preparing for our outragous dance (Love Shack). Unfortunately we did not win, but you can blame our extremely biased judges.

We discovered this waterfall right next to our tents in the campground. The guys did some sweet tricks. Below is a video of David, Mark Purser, and Todd Geddes (I think, I can't really tell). It's long, but if you skip to about 3/4 through the video, you will be impressed with their diving abilities.

This next video is of David and Mark Purser at the pools. If you ask me, I think they belong on the U.S. Olympic Diving team. Let me know what you think.

Independence Day!

July 4th this year we spent in Huntsville with the Stevensons. I love the 4th of July. It is by far my favorite holiday! Enjoy the pics.

Bedtime stories

I don't think they were really watching the fireworks. Mike Beckstead, David, and Chad Roberts.
